NHGO is so grateful to all those who have supported our work and made this possible. We wish to thank all supporters and well-wishers who are providing financial support and gifts in kind.
We wish also to thank the local government and government as whole, police, who have been very cooperative with us conducting rescues, patience, and understanding when we register clients for school.
There are a number of churches who have supported NHGO, and we are extremely thankful. We wish to thank the Sabato church, Keko Lutheran church, Foresti Lutheran church Mbeya, and the University of Dar Es Salaam English Service for welcoming girls from NHGO to sing at their services and for financial collections to be taken.
There are numerous groups who have supported NHGO, paying for school fees, sponsoring girls and providing training and we are so grateful. We particularly wish to thank: Millennium Women group, Zena Group, Women of Faith, Sustainable Female Alliance, Dorcas Group, Hazina Ya mwanamke group Youth Welfare Trust, Agape Group, Tusiime Charity Group, Smart Ladies Group, African Road, Rotary club, Wise lady Sophia charity
The local schools have been very cooperative and understanding of the financial situation, allowing girls to have an education. We extend thanks to: Zawadi Secondary School, Tabata High School, Mtambaani primary school, Tabata Shule Primary School, Jica Primary School, Misewe primary school, together with all teachers.
NHGO has hosted numerous international volunteers through UNV-under the coordination of Ioana. We are so thankful to each volunteer, as well as to Anna Strain, Nina for her tireless work in coordinating volunteers to come and bless us. We are very thankful to African Road for providing training to our client on professional Village Community Banking (VICOBA). Thank you, Sean, David and Kelly who participated in making this happen and creating financial freedom to our clients.
We also function through local volunteers: those who are still clients of NHGO who are now volunteering: Nuru Mwegoha, Eva Bozen. Other local volunteers Christina Magige, Geradina Erneus, Ossiana Mwaikambo, Jakobo Tungaraza, Kelvin George, and we wish to appreciate their commitment and hard work.
The media have continued to provide coverage on NHGO, and we wish to thank: ITV (Women Programme) Milimani T.V and radio, Tumaini radio, Upendo radio, Mwananchi newspaper, Citizens Newspaper and Upendo newspaper. Their coverage has helped to inform people of our work and mobilized support. It has also done a lot for educating fellow Tanzanians about the reality of working with vulnerable people.
We extend our thanks to the community, for loving and supporting us and for their involvement in our programs. We hope to continue with each of these activities in the future and expand the programs we offer to be able to see young women and girls in Tanzania mainland to foster socio-economic needs, become self-sustained and effective pioneers of human rights.
